For those just joining my site, Petit Vour is a Vegan beauty subscription service that delivers 4 full size and deluxe sample sized beauty products to your door for $15 a month (and there are other payment methods to select from as well)

let's get started on this month's goodies!

100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Satin Eye Shadow; Retail Value: $25

Petit Vour April 2016 Review

What They Say:

"This smooth and velvety eye shadow will leave your eyelids soft, moisturized and nourished with vitamins, antioxidants and other nutrients that are good for you skin. 100% Natural formula is free of chemical preservatives, artificial fragrances, synthetic chemicals and is colored with pigments from antioxidant rich fruits and vegetables"

What I say:

I have heard nothing but amazing things about the 100% pure brand of cosmetics and skin care.. I have been wanting to try their products forever, the only deterrent is the cost of most of their items.. $25 for a tiny little pot of eyeshadow.. my pocket book says YIKES.. however the formulations/pigmentations/packaging..etc of this brand cannot be topped.. the ingredients are good for you, and productive... the pigment of this shadow is gorgeous and the smoothness is fantastic, so far it has shifted since being put on my eyes, but if applied with a base perhaps the life of the color will be longer... I love that it's colored with fruit, it makes me feel better about what I am putting on my skin.. if I would put it inside my body, It only makes sense that it would safe and effective to use outside my body... I love this... and will convince myself to buy more of the line ;)

Ursa Major Fortifying Face Balm; $9.50 (full-size, $36)

Petit Vour April 2016 Review

What They Say:

"This lightweight, serum-like moisturizer is full of robust anti-aging properties to keep skin looking younger, longer. Super calming with a smooth, matte finish"

What I say:

First things first I refuse to believe that the retail value of this size is $9.50 there are maybe 2 uses in this teeny tiny bottle and I get the feeling these are the "free samples" Ursa major hands out at retailer or vending events.. so I don't really think we are getting a real deal on this stuff.. but I digress

The formulation is as the description says, it smells fantastic and it's smooth, calming and does have a matte and non-greasy formula.. this is definitely the kind of moisturizing cream I am in the market for.. just wish the size they gave us was larger because I don't exactly have $40 to cough up for the full size just yet.. sigh whoa is me.

Kumari River Bath and Body Oil; $8.50 (full-size $34)

Petit Vour Review April 2016

What They Say:

"A Soothing, cooling aromatic bath and body oil to invite total serenity, formulated with organic chamomile and olive oils to soothe sensitive or irritated skin"

What I say:

This smell is heavenly, I love essential oils and oils for skin care and body care.. this can be used for aromatherapy by dropping some in a hot bath, or you can apply some to your skin after a shower for moisturizing and relaxation... I just got this bottle and I am already almost out because I am in LOVE with the scent and soothing effect of this stuff, it has all kinds of essential oils in it that I adore

  • Chamomile
  • Peppermint
  • Lemon
  • Rosemary
  • Geranium
  • Frankincense
  • Olive
  • Grape seed
  • Sesame

I have most of these oils laying around I may have to concoct a bottle of my own.. because this combination is heavenly and has so many benefits!!

Juara Hand and Nail Balm $2.50(Full-size $25)

Petit-Vour April 2016 Review

What They Say:

"This Ultra-rich hand treatment provides long lasting hydration for dry hands, especially after hand washing, and helps strengthen nails and cuticles. A concentrated blend of nourishing coconut, candlenut and Buriti oils, Skin-softening illipe butter and age-delaying oat bran work synergistically to reduce the appearance of fine lines, plump skin and help fade age spots"

What I say:

Another really small sample is my first and only qualm about this product, again it seems like one of those free samples they hand out at vending and promotional events it really is a teaser sample because this stuff is soooo good. I maybe have 3-5 small uses of this sample size before it's out though which is a bummer.. but I love the non-greasy feel of this and the sleek design.. (great for carrying in your purse) I also have learned recently that I need to take better care of my hands so hand creams have been on my radar.. right now I am using the coconut nectar hand cream from Pacifica but this might be my next hand cream when my Pacifica one is out.. I love that it treats the cuticles and strengthens nails.. plus my hands could use less fine lines.. LOL I am 27 years old but my hands are pushing 40 LOL.

So there you have it... 4 Vegan Products delivered to my door supposedly retailing around $45.50 for only $15..

Petit Vour April 2016 Review This month's box was worth it alone for the $25 eyeshadow from 100% pure. I definitely feel I got bang for my buck and I got introduced to new brands of interest and ingredients of interest.. I am overall pleased with the April Box.
